The Story:

This jersey was acquired from Eddie Olson on www.gameworn.net

He got it from a private collector indirectly from the Avalanche

Myrvold played four games for the Avalanche in 1995-96, including opening night and then spent the following preseason with the team, but logged no regular season games before being tradedto Boston in November

Myrvold used #33 for the 95/96 pr. Season, as the only player, except from Patrick Roy,

to have worn that # with the Av's, but had #55 on Opening Night vs. The Wings, his first NHL game

The Jersey:

The jersey shows a few good marks on the body and arms

The crest shows a couple of nice stick marks, and the arms have a lot of black marks in the elbow area

Both sleeves exhibit some light slashmarks on the numbers

The nameplate shows signs of being taken off and reattached, with some thread remnants left from the previous nameplate,  further, the lettering style shows it to be a 1995-96 nameplate, probably taken from Myrvold's jersey from the previous year.

Because the nameplate appears to be recycled from the previous year,

and given Myrvold's limited appearances in 1995-1996, it is possible this is the

only home Avalanche jersey of Myrvold's in existence. Overall, decent wear for a preseason gamer

Starter and NHL logo on back hem.
